Unleash Your Potential: The Art of Visualization
October 30, 2023We love sports for the way they make us feel and feel.
I still remember the first football match I saw on TV. I checked now and it was June 12th 1998. I was at my grandparents, the TV was black and white and the first player I remember on the pitch is the then number 12 of the home team, Thierry Henry.

How lucky, my first match to be a match that would end 3-0. France were beating South Africa in their opening group match and I was falling madly in love with football. Romania won group G of that World Championship, surpassing England in the standings as well as in the direct match.
Hagi's return in 1999 to the Romanian National Team was another significant moment for me, during that time I collected all the sports newspapers to be able to cut out my idol and put him on the agenda.
I also enjoyed the spectacle of the Champions League final in 2005. One of the greatest comebacks ever achieved by a team at a high level, the match was nicknamed the Miracle of Istanbul for good reason. Liverpool come back from 3-0 down at half-time to win the penalty shootout after 3-3 in the first 120 minutes. Imagine being 13 years old and watching this match!
Is there any point in telling about the 2006 UEFANTASTIC season of Rapid and Stela? What players we had, what teams we defeated... These incredible football events passed like a dream.
